The Company pursues a policy aimed at maintaining stability and favorable psychological climate for staff members. KuibyshevAzot implements a number of programs that provide a high level of social protection for workers.

Housing program

Since 2000, the Company has in place a Regulation on Assistance in the Acquisition of Housing, providing employees with a long-term, up to 20 years, installment payment plan. In accordance with the Regulation, the Company buys a housing for an employee after the initial cumulative contribution amounting 30% of the cost of the housing. Additional benefits are foreseen for young workers. Since the program initiation, it has been used by 31% of personnel.

Medical Services and Healthy Lifestyle Promotion Programs

An important component of the Company’s social policy is health improvement and organization of recreation for its employees. The Personnel Health Program foresees provision of qualified medical care and is aimed at sickness rate reducing, care delivery and rehabilitation, and exclusion of occupational diseases. Employees have access to modern types of treatments provided by the Company’s own medical department and external specialized healthcare centers. The program is also financed by a voluntary health insurance, and the Company pays half of the insurance premiums for the employees.

KuibyshevAzot PJSC is a company that in the 1990s managed to save and thereafter significantly develop its social infrastructure. Currently, the Company’s assets include a medical facility, the “Stavropol” health care center, the “Podsnezhnik” recreation center, the “Druzhba” recreation center, which has a yacht marina, a food-service center, and other facilities. For sports activities, the Company provides gym halls, sport clubs and health groups.

Hockey, football and basketball clubs of KuibyshevAzot are well known in Togliatti, and are among the strongest. The teams are participating in city, regional and trans-regional competitions and championships of the Russian Trade Union of Workers of Chemical Industries. KuibyshevAzot darts-club is the base for the Open Championships of Togliatti and Samara region.

For organization of rehabilitation, preventive treatment and recreation, the Company provides employees and their families with preferential vouchers to its own social and cultural facilities and third-party institutions in the Russian Federation, including those on the Black Sea coast. Therewith, the employee and his minor children pay 25% of the cost of the voucher, family members - 50%; payment for children recreation facilities amounts to 15% of the cost.

Funds invested in the implementation of the health and recreation programs, and in the provision of qualified medical assistance, have made it possible to achieve a positive trend in reducing workers’ sickness rate by 30% over the last 10 years.

Pensioners Social Security Program

Non-state pension provision for the employees is among the priorities of the social policy of the enterprise. A special program is intended to create conditions that improve retirees’ wealthy status; the program foresees also one-time and monthly additional cash payments.

The enterprise has a Veterans’ Council, uniting about 1,800 of our retirees. The Council’s activities are overseen by the trade union committee. The Company organizes trainings, excursions, events, congratulations with memorable dates for the veterans.

Supplementary payments and dowries

In accordance with the Labor contract, the employees receive the following supplementary allowances:

  • one-time allowance for a childbirth;
  • monthly allowances for women on maternity leave to care for a child up to 3 years old;
  • financial assistance for young specialists, demobilized from the ranks of the Russian Army;
  • on the occasion of anniversaries of the employees;
  • in connection with assignment of titles “Veteran of KuibyshevAzot” or “Honored Veteran of KuibyshevAzot”;

Young Specialists’ Council (YSC) of KuibyshevAzot PJSC is a factory organization, established in 1998 and uniting today more than 1100 people in its ranks, which is about 23% of the Company personnel. In includes all young workers aged under 30 of all types of jobs and departments. Such an association, in addition to promoting professional growth, helps its members to most fully reveal their creative, athletic and other abilities. Moreover, participation in YSC allows factory youth to interact effectively and jointly with the management and the trade union committee to deal with working, social and domestic matters.

It is not by chance that the Young Specialists’ Council of KuibyshevAzot PJSC includes those who:

The work of YSC of KuibyshevAzot PJSC is divided into sector:

Sector of Professional Growth & Training

The main aim of this sector is motivation and encouragement of the employees to improve their skills through holding professional skills competitions among young specialists, as well as identification among them the most promising specialists and possible future leaders - managers.

Mass-cultural Sector

It is responsible for holding evening events and meetings with young employees newly hired to the enterprise. This sector also organizes the participation of factory youth in all kinds of intellectual, sports and themed games. It holds events with the children of young professionals (New Year's greetings, contests, etc.).

Tourism & Sports Sector

Together with the mass-cultural sector, it organizes volleyball, football and other competitions for the young employees of the enterprise, as well as hiking tours and sports family games.
Sport tourism is a new direction of the Young Specialists’ Council of KuibyshevAzot PJSC activities. The youths of the enterprise participate in the tourist rally in memory of Yuri Zakharov, the festival of the author’s song named after Valery Grushin, the annual river journey around the Zhiguli Mountains, and tours along the mountain rivers of our country.

Labor Sector

Plans and coordinates the possibilities of additional earnings at the factory facilities in off-work time, which often helps young workers to master related professions. It conducts labor events to maintain the cleanliness of the industrial site and the areas adjacent to the enterprise, which are also aimed at improvement and landscaping of the city’s territories.

Information Sector

Provides information support and coverage of the YSC activities through all available enterprise resources and social networks.

Social Sector

This sector pays a special attention to the successful implementation and improvement of factory social programs, which include: assisting young professionals in acquiring their residential space, provision of vouchers to health care centers and recreation resorts. The sector is responsible for cooperation with the trade union committee of the enterprise, carrying out factory initiatives in order to support veterans and home front workers of the Great Patriotic War, and orphan asylums.
