“KuibyshevAzot” OJSC is one of the leading companies of the Russian chemical industry.
The company conducts its business in two areas:
- production of caprolactam and its derived products (PA-6, high tenacity yarns, cord fabric, engineering plastics);
- production of ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers.
Besides, “KuibyshevAzot” produces process gases which meet requirements of the main business-directions and at the same time are independent commodity products.
A full range of products accounts over 20 items.

The main information
The company is placed in 1000 km south-east of Moscow, the Russian capital, in Togliatti, Samara Region, on the bank of the Volga, the largest European river.
The plant was founded in 1966.
The area of the company is 3 000 000 sq. m (300 hectare). Number of personnel is 5500 people.
"JSC KuibyhevAzot" today:
- is a part of ten greatest word producers and takes the first place in CIS countries in caprolactam production;
- is a leader in PA-6 production in Russia, CIS countries and Eastern Europe;
- is a part of the first ten enterprises in domestic nitrogen and nitrogen compound making industry;
- is the only company in Russia that produces high-viscous PA, high-tensile technical yarn and cord fabric on its base;
- has an integrated management system, certified in accordance with the requirements of Russian and International Standards ISO 9001:2000 (GOCT R ISO 9001-2001); ISO 14001:2004; OHSAS 18001:2007 (GOST R 12.0.006-2002).
