Packing
Crystalline caprolactam is packed in 25 kg PE and paper bags.
Liquid caprolactam is delivered in 40 t and 50 t rail tank cars.
Storage
The flaked caprolactam is stored in closed rooms. Liquid caprolactam is kept in tanks under a N 2 atmosphere.
Transportation
Crystalline caprolactam: covered rail cars, high capacity containers or covered road trucks. Caprolactam is transported in a liquid state in thermally insulated heatable rail tank cars.
Storage life: Crystalline caprolactam: 2 months, liquid caprolactam: 15 days
