In 2007 sales proceeds amounted to 17.2 billion rubles, up 35.2 % on results of 2006. In dollar terms the sales volume increased by 43.6 % to $673.4 million. Cost of goods sold and selling and administrative expenses rose by 17.2 % to 13.9 billion rubles. Net profit is put at 1,978.2 million rubles, 3.4 times exceeding the results of 2006. Income from operations increased 3.7 times to 3,348.5 million rubles.
Good figures are attributable to a number of factors:
- Stable benzene and phenol prices compared to 2006, when simultaneous shutdown of several producers resulted in feedstock shortage with price increase;
- Favorable situation in the markets of our products;
- Growth of product output, including products with higher value added;
- Lower specific consumption of material resources as a result of revamping and upgrading policy.
In the reporting year 1170,8 million rubles were paid out as taxes to the budgets of different levels.
