These measures include:

• Provision of safety of industrial facilities to such an extent as to minimize risks of accidents and personal injures by using advanced technologies
• Raising of personnel skills to reduce probability of errors causing accidents; personnel training for extraordinary situations;
• Control over compliance of work conditions with legal regulations and the Collective Bargain Agreement.

Among the important lines are tracking and ascertainment of the facts of violation of labor protection requirements and elimination of reasons causing their occurrence. The regular workplace attestation is performed for checking harmfulness and hazards of the production environment, work severity and intensity, as well as operational and purposeful inspections of observance of the industrial safety and labor protection standards.

In 2007 the company implemented the integrated system of quality management, labor safety and environmental management according to the International standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

In 2007 the number and severity of accidents, injury rate went down.

The off-line emergency forces which operate in hazardous locations were provided with a complete protective equipment.

According to the Collective Bargain Agreement the expenditures for providing labor safety amounted to RUR 6,6m.
