Dear colleagues,
Assessing the previous year 2007 we can say with confidence that it was a fairly successful year for KuibyshevAzot. The efficient production performance and favorable market situation yielded results showing our sustained progress. The revenues have increased by 35%, net profit rose by 3.3 times with significant growth of the product output. The output of caprolactam, ammonium nitrate and urea showed historical highs for the company. The production of higher value added products went up.
These figures were predetermined by the policy of consistent revamping and renewal of fixed assets aimed at quality improvement, expansion of capacities and cost reduction. Last year RUR 2.6 billion was invested in capacity expansion and maintenance.
The major project realized that year was start-up of the third line of the polyamide-6 plant. With commissioning of the new plant KuibyshevAzot is now a sole leader in polyamide output in the CIS. Within the program aimed at increase of caprolactam processing the “Kurskkhimvolokno” plant was acquired at the end of the year contributing to our steady position in Russia’s markets of the textile and technical yarns.
The environmental and social issues were effectively resolved.
Certainly, the consistent development of the enterprise is the achievement of all our high skilled and united team of the company.

- strengthening of our presence in strategically important markets and development of new sales outlets;
- introduction of the latest information technologies to raise efficiency of the operations and management decisions adopted;
- improvement of staff qualification and its social protection;
- matching the principles of corporate governance and investor relationship practice the international standards.
This program will ensure sustainable development of the company and growth of its asset value.
